Ho Ho Ho

We decided to beat the rush and get Santa done early this year. Alex was not into it at all! All kids have to have ONE picture of them crying on Santa's lap right?

Just for fun, I included the last two years - I just got around to scanning them in today!

Hope you all have a wonderful CHRISTmas season!

Happy Birthday Alex!

We celebrated Alex's second birthday on Saturday. Here are some shots of the day. The masterpiece. Bryan and I worked together on this Blue's Clues cake. We figure by the time the kids are 12 we will be pros!

Our little charmer

Rebekah was good at letting Alex open his own presents, but was RIGHT THERE in case he needed any assistance!

Farm animal puzzle from Grandma Melissa, a big hit!

After this picture Alex turned to Bryan and said "Fork Daddy!" He was ready to dig in!

And he did! (after we cut a piece for him!)

Playing with the Tee ball set from Aunt Ree Ree.

Here are a couple of videos. One pre celebration and one singing Happy Birthday. (By the way, I know I am singing totally off key! I was trying to be quiet since I was holding the camera, next time I'll just belt it out and be on key!)

Stay tuned for tomrrows post: Alex as "Boy Dorothy"

Playing Catch Up - 4 New Posts

Halloween!

Trying on Alex's costume. He wasn't too thrilled when he first saw it the week before, but when he found out he was going to get candy when he wore it, he was happy to oblige.

Dorothy and the Lion

Things became a little hectic that night and I didn't get a chance to take the pictures I wanted to, but I think what we got was pretty good.

Trick or Treating at the BX.

After the BX we went to the Chapel for their festivities. They had a costume contest and Alex won cutest boy. (Of course!) Here he is with the gift certificate he won and his proud Mommy!

Picture Day!

Bronco Fans!

A Day of Fun (for the kids)

A couple of weekends ago there was a carnival type thing on base. Free food and free entertainment for the kids. We spent more time standing in line for the pony rides than anything else, thankfully there was a playground right by the horses and I stood in line while Bryan played with the kids!

The Jumping Castle

I didn't get a chance to witness it, but I was amazed that Rebekah (that's her in the pink hat) went down this huge slide by herself! (I was standing in line for food - it was almost as long as the line for the pony rides!)

FINALLY after lunch and standing in line for at least 45 minutes Alex and Rebekah got to ride the ponies. Alex stood on the fence like this watching for quite a while.

Alex just kept waving saying "Hi Daddy! Hi Daddy!" The whole time.

This picture is cropped so I am not in it, but be assured I am right there next to Alex!
